在澳洲UTS(悉尼科技大學)大學讀研，同學們可能遇到各種形式的Assignment，也就是作業(yè)。作業(yè)會根據(jù)課程不同有不同的呈現(xiàn)形式。

　　在UTS，常見的作業(yè)類型一共有八種，即：Essays、Reports、Literature Reviews、Annotated Bibliographies、Reflective Tasks、Case Studies、Group Work、Group Presentation Skills八類。接下來我們給大家詳細講解Reports(報告)作業(yè)形式的具體結構要求。

　　一、課程Assignment：Reports(報告)

　　報告提供了關于正在調查的情況或問題的組織清晰的信息。

　　這些信息可能來自你的經(jīng)驗、你的閱讀、你的研究、在實驗室或野外進行的實驗或測量。

　　二、具體結構要求

　　在不同的專業(yè)、不同的學科，專業(yè)課程，具體的Reports可能會有不同的結構要求。下面這個報告示例，大家可以作為參考。

　　1.引言：具體介紹問題或者情況的主題以及背景;描述你的目的與目標、調查范圍or限制等

　　2.方法：需要分布描述、解釋研究如何進行。

　　3.調查結果：顯示調查研究結果，以圖表等形式呈現(xiàn)。

　　4.討論：在這部分解釋結果的含義即可，具體來說就是分析數(shù)據(jù)和解釋。為什么你認為這些結果會發(fā)生，結果意味著什么，這些結果可能對正在討論的情況有怎樣的影響等等。

　　5.結論和建議：簡單總結研究目的、結果、發(fā)現(xiàn)。也可能包括建議，需要單獨列出。

　　6.附錄：這里可以包含任何和你的Reports，和你的報告相關但是因為內(nèi)容太長不能被放在正文中的內(nèi)容和信息。具體來說，報告附錄部分可能會有作為研究的一部分用了的問卷，或者從你的研究中獲得的完整數(shù)據(jù)集。

　　三、UTS大學Reports Assignment中可以通用的語言表達(趕緊收藏，用得到!)

　　1.當你要說明報告的目的時，可以這樣表述：

　　The major objective of this study is to examine ….

　　The aim of this report is to investigate the differences between X and Y.

　　This report investigates the usefulness of ….

　　2.當你要承認報告的范圍或局限性時，可以這樣表述：

　　Several aspects of this topic are outside the scope of this report. Firstly, ….

　　This study only examines ….

　　The report focuses on X but does not include Y.

　　3.當你要描述方法或過程時，可以這樣表述：

　　Data for this study were collected using ….

　　The study was conducted in the form of a survey, with data being gathered via ….

　　Experiments were conducted using ….

　　4.報告結果時，可以這樣表述：

　　Table 1 shows an overview of ….

　　Figure 1 compares the results of X with the results of Y.

　　The table in Appendix A illustrates some of the main characteristics of ….

　　5.當你想突出重要的、有趣的或令人驚訝的結果時，可以這樣表述：
